Overview:
We are looking for a BSA/Technical writer who can prepare business process documentation for Data Governance projects.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the business processes in an organization or a company for inefficiencies and inadequacies. Making recommendations and approvals for solutions or improvements that can be achieved and attained through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Acting as liaison between business stakeholders, such as management, customers or end users, and the software development or information technology team.
- Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements.
- Documenting and evaluating required data and information.
- Using modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information through an organization to enhance project success.
Requirements:
- 10+ Years of experience as a Technical BSA with excellent technical writing skills
- 6+ Years of experience in writing technical documents including specific experience in writing for non-technical audiences
- Data Governance Domain knowledge is preferred
- Documentation should include narrative processes, flow charts, swim lane diagrams, etc...
- Experienced user of the latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) products
- Ability to digest technical inputs and analyses, and produce a logical, understandable documentation
- Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and developers to ensure topics are appropriately addressed
- Strong Technical business analyst/Technical writer with at least 8+ years of experience.
- Proficient in SQL with a thorough understanding of data models, database systems, Data warehouse, and BI solutions.
- Strong personal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude to see and think through complex end-end business processes and data flows.
