Overview
We are hiring for Sr. ETL Talend developer who has experience in developing and maintaining ETL Talend & data management processes
Responsibilities
- Experience in Talend job design, development, testing and implementation
- Data extraction from different sources such as SQL Server, Teradata, flat files, Excel, and XML files
- Experience in performance tuning and provides technical design recommendations
- Experience validating the ETL and writing SQL and PL/SQL queries
- Perform design and code review
- Work proactively with team to meet delivery timelines and provide expertise and guidance to other developers
- Should have clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributed in preparing technical design documents and test plans
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of ETL Talend experience is required
- Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL)using Talend, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar tools such as BODI, Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS, or related technologies
- Advanced understanding of relational databases (Teradata, Vertica, Oracle) and Hadoop ecosystem (Big Data)
- Expertise in theoretical and practical knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling
- Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, and SQL Tuning
- Highly skilled in SQL technologies (writing, reviewing, tuning)
- Development experience with any major BI Tool including IBM Cognos, Tableau or similar toolsUse of data architecture and profiling methods to analyze data sources
- Excellent problem solving skills, logical process thinking, and end-to-end system concepts
- Broad experience with OLAP/OLTP concepts and terminology
- Expertise in translating business requirements to project design, development, and execution
