Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Product Analyst / Business Analyst to lead the requirements definition and manage the delivery of critical business applications and technology solutions. This is a crucial hybrid role, weighting approximately 60% Business Analysis (BA) and 40% Project Management (PM).
The primary mission is to bridge the gap between non-technical business stakeholders and our technical development teams. You will be responsible for eliciting, structuring, and validating complex functional and non-functional requirements necessary to build, deploy, and govern successful enterprise technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
60% Business Analysis & Requirements Definition
- Stakeholder Elicitation: Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with non-technical leaders and end-users to deeply understand business challenges, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Requirements Documentation: Translate high-level business goals into clear, actionable artifacts, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps, and Data Flow Diagrams that are consumable by technical teams and software engineers.
- Requirements Scope & Quality: Define and document all functional, non-functional, security, and integration requirements. Ensure standards for data quality, compliance, and privacy considerations are documented upfront.
- AI Business Solutions: Ensure the business is aware of emerging trends, practice, and technologies and how they may contribute to business outcomes and strategies. Actively identify and champion innovation initiatives supporting the business strategy.
- Process Modeling: Analyze and document current-state business processes and propose optimized future-state processes incorporating the new solution's capabilities.
- Validation & Sign-Off: Review documented requirements with stakeholders, gain formal approval, and manage the scope baseline throughout the project lifecycle.
40% Project Management & Delivery Oversight
- Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, scope definitions, and work breakdown structures (WBS) aligned with Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Facilitation: Lead and facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, ensuring clear communication and momentum.
- Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies, escalating critical items to leadership as necessary.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business sponsors, development teams, and UX/UI design. Provide regular, transparent status updates on progress, scope changes, and timelines.
- Quality Assurance & UAT Oversight: Coordinate with QA teams, define acceptance testing strategies, and manage the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet documented requirements and business expectations.
- Delivery Tracking: Monitor and report on key project metrics (KPIs), ensuring the application is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the documented business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Project Management role, with at least 2 years in a hybrid capacity.
- Proven expertise in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and analysis methodologies.
- Collaborate with teams to gather and define business requirements for AI based solutions, making sure the needs, use cases, and expected outcomes are clearly understood and aligned with the project goals.
- Ability to work with AI, machine learning, and automation concepts to support solution planning and define business value.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice-versa.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog management and sprint planning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
- Familiarity with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CSM, PSM).
- Ability to clearly explain how GenAI tools can be applied in business contexts.
- Experience creating visual artifacts like user journey maps, wireframes, or data models to communicate requirements effectively.
