Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Lead with a strong background in migrating SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports to Power BI. If you have a passion for data visualization and a proven track record of successfully migrating SSRS reports to Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of SSRS reports to Power BI, ensuring a smooth transition with enhanced data visualization capabilities.
- Assess existing SSRS reports to identify opportunities for improvement and determine the best migration strategies.
- Create visually appealing and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively convey insights to end-users.
- Develop and maintain Power BI data models that provide reliable data sources for reporting and analytics.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI solutions, including report loading times and data refresh rates.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions, including data models, report specifications, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT, to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Should have 5+ years of experience in Power BI, required minimum 2+ years of experience in migrating SSRS reports to Power BI
- Proven experience in successfully migrating SSRS reports to Power BI.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including report development and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of SQL and data query languages.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to optimize Power BI solutions for performance.
