Overview:
The ideal candidate is responsible for the initial DW architecture capturing the data requirements of 3 BUs, performing dimensional modeling, data platform, ETL development, and a strong understanding of pertinent data sources (SQL Server, ORACLE, Team Center, Solumina, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the conception, design, development, and deployment of data architecture and data models
- Provide leadership for the architectural direction, and provide consultation to agile teams
- Work together with various business units (BI, Product, Reporting) to develop a data warehouse platform vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Follow different ETL Processes to prepare a design for all metadata
- Responsible for the development of physical and logical data models
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience performing data warehouse architecting, designing, development, and management of Data warehouse project end to end, Design and executing an innovative reporting system for processes.
- Monitor efficient transition of business requirements to technical specifications.
- Monitor that the business requirements are correctly translated into technical specifications.
- Coordinate with various work groups and design improvements to various enterprise management plans and prepare reports for same.
- Monitor compatibility of all data delivery tools and warehouse and ensure effective resolution for same.
- Evaluate all training programs for end users and provide support for the same.
