Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Client Success Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The Client Success Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales process, working closely with customers to understand their needs and propose solutions that align with our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and a passion for driving business growth through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales Support: Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives. Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for our products and services.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions that address their specific needs and requirements. Work closely with product development teams to tailor solutions and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Sales Support Materials: Develop and maintain technical sales materials, including presentations, product datasheets, and case studies. Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their technical knowledge and effectiveness.
- Proposal Preparation: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including solution architectures, pricing models, and implementation plans. Ensure proposals are tailored to meet customer needs and address technical requirements.
- Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with sales management to forecast sales opportunities, track progress against targets, and identify areas for growth. Provide input on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in technical sales, engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understand their business needs, and develop tailored solutions.
- Experience with solution selling and consultative sales methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and support sales activities.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
