Overview
We are seeking an Anaplan Architect to design, implement, and optimize Anaplan solutions that drive business planning and decision-making. This role will be responsible for leading the architecture, integration, and governance of Anaplan models while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Anaplan model building, data integration, and solution design across finance, supply chain, sales, or workforce planning
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable Anaplan solutions to support business planning and forecasting.
Architect end-to-end Anaplan models, ensuring optimal structure, performance, and usability.
Implement best practices in Anaplan model building, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and governance. - Optimize model performance by refining calculations, data flows, and hierarchies.
- Work closely with business teams, finance, operations, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into Anaplan models.
Act as a strategic advisor on Anaplan capabilities, data modeling, and business processes.
Partner with executives and key stakeholders to drive adoption and maximize ROI of Anaplan solutions. - Lead the integration of Anaplan with ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday), CRM (Salesforce), BI tools, and data warehouses.
- Define and implement ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within Anaplan.
- Establish model-building standards, best practices, and documentation processes.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing Anaplan models.
Lead training and mentoring for junior Anaplan model builders and end-users.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on Anaplan experience (Solution Architecture, Model Building, Data Integration).
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Solution Architect certification preferred).
- Experience with multi-dimensional modeling, ALM, and Anaplan Connect/API integration.
- Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, sales, or workforce planning.
- Experience integrating Anaplan with ERP, CRM, or BI tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or ETL tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable Anaplan solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
